I see myself as a trustworthy, reliable and independent person. I feel that as a designer I always try to work outside my comfort zone in order to develop new skills in everything I do. No matter how hard the challenge may be, I always work to the best of my ability. I feel that I am comfortable working as part of a group and as an individual, I take pride in all aspects of my work and aim to show my full potential in each piece of work I produce.

I feel that the work I have submitted highlights my strengths and shows my ability to create unique pieces. I think these images show my knowledge and use of different materials and techniques. Currently my strengths lie in the textiles area of design and I am intrigued by the experimentation and manipulation of different fabrics.

After visiting your university I was impressed with your  facilities and help that would be available to me. I would love the opportunity to study with you and pursue my ambitions to become a designer in the textiles industry. I feel that after seeing current students work at an open day I will be in my element but at the same time be able to attempt new things in ways that I may have never tried before.
