I took these images of my weave when it was rolled up with just a small section left out and also when it was rolled out, I then placed it in front of my colour board and sketchbook as i wanted to create some new compositions.
This image shows one of my favorite sections of my weave, I love the fact that you can see two of the yarn cones in the background of this image as it compliments the overall photograph.
Here is a close up of the Mock Leno pattern on my weave, on this particular section i used two different coloured yarns to get a better effect which turned out great.
This image shows my warp coming through the reed of the loom, i really like the definition of the yarn as it looks very clear.
As my warp has a repetitive pattern i decided to do a section of my weft in plain weave, i used the same repeat pattern for this which gave it a lovely checkered effect.
