Sketchbook

These two images are the sections I chose from my colour board for one of the tasks we were set, I really like the angles of these as they show interesting compositions and layouts for new design ideas.
The colours in these images are the ones I am using for my colour palette.

This is an image of my version of 'Across The Albert Dock' (shown below). i really like how this turned out as although the colours are not exact i feel as though i made this drawing my own. After more drawings this particular one became the main focus point of my project.
'Accross The Albert Dock' by Ian Fennely.               This image is one of my favorites by local artist Ian Fennely, he specialises in watercolour paintings of various cities and their amazing surroundings, the main reason his work interests me is his use of vibrant colours. The way he defines each detail also draws me in to his work.

                                                                          Journey

After our trip to Liverpool we were given 'Journey' as a title/starting point for our first project. I used my photographs and drawings from Liverpool to put together the start of my sketchbook. Shown here are some images of my project so far.
